Harassment behaviors can be subtle and varied and, although considered in isolation they could give the feeling of being irrelevant, they tend to be part of a strategy that undermines the victim's self-esteem, until leaving them in a situation of helplessness and submission that can conclude with its physical, psychic and social annulment.

All people have the right to receive respectful and dignified treatment, to health at work, to be treated equally and not to suffer any discrimination in the workplace. The company Sala de Desfer i Magatzem Frigorífic J. Viñas, SA is committed to eradicating situations of harassment in the work environment.

This protocol, which includes actions to prevent, detect, investigate and solve situations of workplace harassment, of any type, also represents a commitment by the company to completely eradicate these behaviors and to guarantee the health of the people who suffer these situations.

Likewise, the protocol determines the actions and responsibilities of the bodies that must intervene in the resolution of these situations and ensures the plurality of interventions to guarantee adequate treatment in the assessment of each of the actions, while respecting the most appropriate in each case, in accordance with the general principles of this protocol.

This protocol has been drawn up by the company's employee representation together with the human resources department. The company's prevention representatives reviewed it afterwards, giving their approval. A firm commitment of the Viñas Group to achieve respect for all people and a good working environment.
